I have many friends that are pregnant or just had a baby! Babies are such bundles of joy and a blessing from above! As proud parents you want to announce them to everyone! All these cards reminded me of my friends and family members that are pregnant. I thought these were cute for families that are having another boy to the family, having twins or simply outdoorsy people, like my sister in law! A tradition in my family that my husband grew up was a "Star Birthday." Ben's star birthday was long before we met, so I never got to do something extraordinary for him. My star birthday was when I turned 24 because my birthday date was the 24th and was amazing! Our son's star birthday is when he turns sweet 16...hopefully he doesn't expect a car! :-)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Halloween is October 31st and is a fun day for many people! The day is often associated with the colors orange and black and common Halloween activities include dressing up in costumes, trick or treating, going to parties, spooking. pranking people, going to organized haunted houses, carving pumpkins, reading and watching scary books and movies! These are all things that I recall as a kid! I loved getting ready for trick or treating with my best girlfriends and collecting all the yummy candy that would I would try to eat all in one night and then in reality last me months! Now, I'm on the other end, passing candy to the kids and complimenting all the cute costumes. This will be my son's second Halloween this year and still figuring out what his costume will be! He is not old enough to indulge and eat candy yet so maybe a few doors in the neighborhood to collect candy for mommy and daddy!

Seasonal Photo Cards

I love receiving Christmas photo cards every year because of the intimate family touch of being able to see how a family is doing, seeing how big kids are getting, adoring the family pets and of course hanging photos on the fridge! After the the new year, I always cut the greetings off and keep the pictures in a album or photo box.
